Description

JOGA FIT is a three-day course that will take your JOGA training to a whole new level. This course is designed specifically for those who want to use JOGA in a fitness setting using JOGA balls and sliders to challenge the end user.

JOGA Fit

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • How to use the Joga Level 1 & 11 programs to create JOGA FIT programs including JOGA BALLS, JOGA SLIDERS 
  • 3 steps to  designing a metabolic conditioning program 
  • How to design programs with sequencing/cadence /intensity & volume 
  • How to use work to rest ratio to create the desired outcome for the client

CERTIFICATION OUTLINE

PREPARATION: 

  • PRACTICE JOGA BALLS & JOGA SLIDERS PROGRAMS

DAY 1:

Module 1: JOGA SLIDERS

  • Lecture: What is JOGA FIT
  • Practice JOGA Sliders
  • Posture Lab JOGA Sliders
  • Practice teach JOGA Sliders

DAY 2: 

Module 2: JOGA BALLS

  • Lecture: IMPORTANCE OF DESIGN (CHOICE OF EXERCISE, SEQUENCING, TEMPO & VOLUME)
  • Practice JOGA Balls
  • Posture Lab JOGA Balls
  • Practice TeachJOGA Balls

DAY 3: 

Module 3 : PRACTICUM

  • Create a JOGA FIT PROGRAM
  • Present Program
  • Observe other JOGA FIT programs  

What you will need:

A computer device with a screen and audio so you can see and hear the practice, a laptop or tablet is preferred

Water, to hydrate before and after practice

Mat or appropriate floor space to practice on
